Each year the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Connecticut recognizes outstanding achievements by local home builders with the prestigious HOBI awards. By Carrier has been honored in the past with many awards including Best Detached 55+ Community in 2007 for Chimney Hill Estates, Outstanding New Haven County Detached 55+ Community in 2008 for Castle Heights, Best Single Family Home $300,000-$400,000 in 2009 for Samuel’s Crossing, Best Small Lot Community in 2010 for Langdon’s Quarters and Best Large Luxury 55+ Community in 2011 for Castle Heights.

In 2012 we were delighted to hear that we won four more HOBI awards reaffirming our commitment to a hard work ethic and superior craftsmanship. For 2012 By Carrier was recognized for:

Best 55+ Home 2,000-3,000SF – 1 Hearthstone Lane at Chimney Hill Estates in Farmington

Best Promotional Event for a Community – Grand Opening of Washington Farms in Burlington

Best Spec Home $750,000=$1 million – 1 Kings Grant at Washington Farms

Best New Economy Home – 1 Kings Grant at Washington Farms

Washington Farms is one of our new single family communities and we are proud to be recognized so quickly by such an authority. In 2012 we announced the release of twelve homes at Washington Farms in Burlington located on Taine Mountain Road and Kings Grant and four homes in Farmington located at the extension of Alpine Road.

The 2013 HOBI Award Application will be posted in early summer of 2013 and we look forward to another banner year for our custom home communities.
