History

Emile and Blanche Carrier raised their 12 sons and 1 daughter on the family farm in Quebec, Canada. A shining example for their children of a strong work ethic and integrity, Emile and Blanche cherished family. Their deep-rooted morals and work ethic have guided By Carrier over the last fifty years.

In the mid 1960s, six of the Carrier brothers moved to Connecticut in pursuit of opportunity. They began working in various aspects of the housing industry and ultimately progressed to complete home building and land development. In the process they formed By Carrier, which unites them in their dedication to create communities and build homes for which they are proud of the unsurpassed quality.
