Make-A-Wish FrameOn July 26, 2017, Carrier Excavating, Inc. was honored to help a little boy’s dreams come true. Through the Connecticut Chapter of the Make-A-Wish® Foundation, young Weston got the playscape he always wanted for his backyard. Along with volunteers from Aetna, ESPN and the Home Depot, Carrier Excavating, Inc. helped lay the foundation for the play area.

About Make-A-Wish®

The Make-A-Wish® Foundation was formed in 1980 to arrange once-in-a-lifetime experiences for children diagnosed with life-threatening illnesses. When it was discovered that 7-year-old Christopher had leukemia, U.S. Customs Agent Tommy Austin made it his mission to see that the boy’s dream of becoming a police officer came true – at least for one day. Since April 29, 1980, the Make-A-Wish® Foundation has been making hopes and dreams come true for the strong children and families who fight terminal illness every day.

By Carrier Community Involvement

Carrier ExcavationAs a family owned and operated new construction business, we value the importance of building relationships in our local community. The Carrier family has been constructing semi-custom homes for Connecticut families since 1971 and it’s always great to see big smiles when we present the finished product. Weston’s excitement about his new playscape was very reminiscent of the happiness we’re in business to provide and we are incredibly humbled to have been part of his wish coming true.
