Most pests only need a small crack to get inside but start by securing the most obvious ways in. Popular entry points include windows, vents, pipes, chimneys and roof shingles. Closely inspect these areas and look for any sign of wear or tear that could create an opening. Wet areas are a breeding ground for many insects. A sink filled with dirty dishes, moist bathtubs and buckets of standing water are all hot spots.
